True to its mission of serving and helping the vulnerable and marginalized sectors of the society, the Kabaskog Han Pagka-urusa Organization (Strength in Unity) distributed school supplies to pupils of Santo Niño, Western Samar. Santo Niño, Western Samar is an island municipality which requires approximately 3 hours of travel via boat from the mainland of Calbayog, City. This geographic distance from the mainland somehow exclude the islanders from accessing social services and other forms of support. For this very reason, Kabaskog Han Pagka-urusa selected the said municipality to be its recipient. With the help of its Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Cresta Cular, the Kabaskog Han Pagka-urusa members were able to get the necessary data needed for its distribution. The distribution of school supplies covered grade one (1) to three (3) pupils of brgy. Balatguti, brgy. Sevilla and brgy. Corocawayan, Santo Niño, Western Samar. The said activity was able to serve 200 pupils in the mentioned municipality.
